We are pleased to invite you to attend our upcoming workshop, Designing the City: Challenges and Opportunities in Public Service Design, as part of the 11th International Conference on Communities & Technologies to be held on May 29-30, 2023 in Lahti, Finland. 🇫🇮
The workshop aims to bring together researchers and professionals to share experiences and map the existing and emerging challenges and opportunities for designing public digital services and technologies. We invite you to submit a one to three-page position paper. We welcome papers addressing aspects of design in the city, including, but not limited to, the organizational context of design, design for and with diverse stakeholders, community engagement, power and politics, the limits and possibilities of design methods, and cases of technological interventions.
